We have read your suggestions and acted. The Strix team is excited to announce the release of a new firmware for your Strix 7.1 surround sound gaming headset. If you don't know what it is; this is our first true 7.1 surround sound headset with 10 discrete neodymium-magnet drivers (five in each ear-cup), a glowing Strix-eye on each side and an advanced, plug-and-play USB audio station.
If you're lucky enough to own a pair already and feel like you have the desire for more volume to immerse yourself in games, a new firmware for your Strix 7.1 (MCU Ver. 1.1 DSP Ver.1.1) is now made available for download to provide higher sound volume (there you will find the new firmware file and a instructional manual file to download). Be prepared for even more thunderous bass!
