This can include up to two onboard PCIe 5.0 M.2 slots and one onboard PCIe 4.0 M.2 slot, bundled with an ROG Hyper M.2 card providing two PCIe 5.0 M.2 slots and an ROG Q-DIMM.2 providing two PCIe 4.0 M.2 slots. M.2 slots may also be equipped with substantial cooling solutions to ensure stable, high-performance operation.

    ROG Crosshair X870E Glacial motherboard also features two PCIe® 5.0 x16 SafeSlots for next-generation graphics support.

  • ROG Crosshair X870E Glacial motherboard offers up to two USB4® Type-C® ports, two USB 20Gbps Type-C front-panel connectors—providing one port supporting Quick Charge 4+ (up to 60 watts with USB Wattage Watcher)—twelve USB 10Gbps ports, and three internal USB 2.0 headers.

  • ROG Crosshair X870E Glacial motherboard supports WiFi7, which delivers up to 4.8X faster performance than WiFi6 with advanced technologies such as 320 MHz channels on the 6 GHz band and 4K QAM. WiFi7 also supports Multi-Link Operation (MLO) for connection stability, low latency, and smooth experiences with gaming, streaming, and high-performance wireless workloads.

  • Users can update the BIOS using the BIOS Flashback™ feature or through the UEFI BIOS interface. If your motherboard supports BIOS Flashback, you can update the BIOS without a CPU or memory installed.

    The new ASUS AMD 800 Series motherboards feature an upgraded 64MB ROM BIOS for a smoother interface and expanded compatibility with current and future AM5 processors.
