Project: Phenomenon By Hanshen Oe
Based around a heavily modified NZXT Switch 810 tower case, Hanshen Oe's Prokect Phenomenon was created with a simple philosophy: I've been a pc enthusiast for just about a year and a half. Building a gaming rig for just a "so-so" experience was my only goal at that time. I started with an average build, using a single, average graphics, however as time goes by the addiction turned nasty! I've begun demanding more and more from my rig. Combining an SLI setup with some of the best components I could grab was the only option, as I took to running games/software at the highest setting possible yet didn't want issues or lag. Other than pushing the components to the limit, water cooling was the next inevitable thing. It led me to modding the case so that it can hold more water cooling components, yet still keeping it very good looking. The result of this is was the "Phenomenon".
Project Phenomenon Spec List

- Maximus V Formula motherboard
- 2x ASUS GeForce GTX 670 DirectCU II (SLI)

This included a custom designed, laser cut acrylic grills, as well as new separation panels, also fabricated from acrylic. Phenomenon includes a custom made pedestal to house a second, quad 120mm radiator of the water cooling loop, again painted white. Both the compartments contain subtle use of LED's to illuminate the parts, and to draw attention to the water cooling blocks. The two ASUS GTX 670 DirectCU II graphics cards have had their coolers removed and replaced by EK waterblocks, and are sitting in SLI, while at the bottom of the motherboard sits a ROG Xonar Phoebus providing the high end gaming audio to go with the impressive graphics power. Phenomenon features fully color-coded individually sleeved cables, and also holds two reservoirs, so the liquid level in the system can be viewed from both the front and side of the case.
